Baby Walnut : Reading Theatre : FAQs

Addressing the standard anticipated questions :

  • Can the reporting time be changed to another slot?
Nope. The students are grouped as per their reading levels.

  • My child cannot come on that Saturday. Can we come on a different day?
Nope. But do note these opportunities are hard to come by and have to be specially created and benefit the kids immensely. So we hope whatever you are missing this for is worth it!

  • If I reach late, is it a problem?
Yes. The group that your child is in will not be disturbed once their reading starts. So latecomers are welcome to watch, but cannot join the group.

  • How long will my child actually be reading aloud in this group?
About 2 to 3 minutes without interruptions

  • Can we bring along some relatives also to watch our children perform?
Absolutely! Kids need their cheering squad and fans 🙂

  • Can we take photos / videos?
कोई शक? Of course you can. Memories! Let’s make as many as we can!

  • What if my child does not read on that day?
They will. Their teachers are there to motivate them to do at least a little bit in front of the crowd. And you all will be there to encourage them too. For a child who feels stage fright, this is an excellent opportunity to take the first baby step towards public speaking. Let’s make it happen.

  • Can we watch other kids performing?
Yes, you most definitely can! It will be great for your child to see others performing and you can encourage other kids as well.

  • Is this a competition?
Technically no. But we will be giving out participation certificates to all students who perform. Certificates will be given out immediately after the child’s performance.
