Expected student behaviour
The following behaviour must be avoided by students and can call for disciplinary action. Disciplinary action may include warnings, parent meetings or suspension, depending on the severity of the behaviour.
- Disruptive Behaviour in Classrooms
- Talking out of turn, shouting, or making unnecessary noise
- Teasing or disturbing peers
- Not paying attention or failing to follow teacher instructions
- Disrespect Towards Teachers or Classmates
- Disrespectful arguing, back-answering or using rude language
- Deliberately ignoring instructions
- Making fun of or mocking others
- Stealing or hiding things belonging to others
- Lying / making false allegations
- Running in Corridors or on the Staircase (This is very dangerous so tolerance level: zero)
- Rushing during breaks or between periods
- Pushing others, risking accidents
- Creating chaos in school passageways
- Indiscipline in the Snacks Area / Dining Zone
- Not maintaining proper queue etiquette
- Shouting, fighting or creating a mess
- Bullying, Aggression and Physical Fights (Tolerance level: zero)
- Engaging in any form of physical harm towards others (e.g., hitting, pushing, fighting)
- Using abusive language, threats, intimidation, name-calling, or verbal bullying
- Forming groups to intimidate or exclude fellow students (groupism)
- Misuse of Technology / Electronic Devices
- Using mobile phones or other personal electronic devices during school hours on the school campus
- Accessing inappropriate content on the school campus
- Engaging in cyberbullying or sharing unauthorized content with school students from any location
- Uniform and Personal Appearance
- Wearing incomplete or improper school uniform
- Attending school with an untidy or careless appearance
- Damage to School Property (Tolerance level: zero)
- Breaking or mishandling classroom or school property
- Stealing or hiding things from the school
- Leaving school premises without permission or without parental supervision (Tolerance level: zero)
