Grading System

🎭 Fancy Dress

• Points will be awarded for the costume and presentation with equal weightage for both.
• The costume means "dressing up into character".
• The presentation is the acting related to the character that the child displays.

📝 Poem Recitation

• Points will be awarded for fluency in speech and presentation with equal weightage for both.
• Fluency in speech means "how fluently the poem is recited i.e. less of umms and aahs during the poem delivery".
• The presentation is the acting and expressions relevant to the content of the poem that the child displays.

🕉️ Shlok Recitation

• Points will be awarded for fluency in speech, clarity in pronunciation and presentation with equal weightage for each parameter
• Fluency in speech means "how fluently the shlok is recited i.e. less of umms and aahs during the shlok delivery".
• Clarity in pronunciation focuses on how clearly the words of the shlok are pronounced.
• The presentation is the acting and expressions relevant to the content of the shlok that the child displays.

The judges' decision will be final.

General FAQs

What if my child does not participate, can we still attend?

Of course you can! It's your school, isn't it? Our performers always need an eager audience. You can still come to school with your child during this slot and encourage their classmates. Maybe by watching their classmates perform, your child may be inspired for the next round of competitions. You're still invited as the audience!

How many family members can I bring along?

As many as you want! There is no upper limit - so send out those invites to all your adoring family members right away. Our performers need their cheerleader. Come, cheer them, make a fun morning out of it - and precious memories. You know when and where 🙂
