T-shirt
Clean, well fitting.

Clean, well fitting.
ID card
Tied to the string. No entry to school without it. You can watch this video for reference on how to tie the ID card. Do NOT use safety pins.
Children without an ID card will not be allowed to enter the school campus or attend school. This is for security purposes. Please do not argue with our staff regarding this.
Shoes
They must be totally black. Wearing black sports shoes is a part of the school uniform. Unless the child has a foot injury which prevents them from wearing shoes, this is not allowed.
Socks
Must be worn. Note that socks must be totally black and visible. So socks that are below the ankle (and therefore not visible) are not allowed.
Hair
Hair should be properly combed and not falling on to the forehead and eyes. Short hair should be styled with a black hairband. If hair goes up to the shoulder, it must be tied up neatly. Long hair should be braided in two plaits. Hair bands or hair ties or elastics or pins must all be black.
Nails
Clean, short. Trimming of nails should be done at regular intervals.
Handkerchief
Please do not pin up the handkerchief to the t-shirt. We really do not want safety pins on the kids. Please place the handkerchief in their pocket.
Jewellery
None. But if you must, then only very small/simple earrings are allowed. No other visible accessories, rings, chains, pendants, bangles, tattoos, mehendi, stickers etc. are allowed for any reason be it religious, fashion, astrological etc.
If anything additional is worn, it will be removed and kept in the office. Parents will be informed to collect it from the school. It will not be given back to the student. Walnut staff is not responsible for the safety of this material.
Students found violating this are asked to wait in the office and the parent is called to come and fix the problem or to take the child home. In any case, students who do not comply with these rules are not allowed to participate in the sports activity. They have to wait on the sidelines.
Reference number is to be written on the uniform label (T-shirt, trousers, jacket), tiffin bag and napkins and also on the shoes so that they do not get mixed up.
Suggestions: write with a ballpoint pen or get it embroidered.
