Sarika Mahale

Principal

Sarika Mahale, Principal of Walnut School, Wakad, has a BA in Psychology and is a certified counsellor along with a graduate degree in science and brings unique insights to the team. She also has a B.Ed and an MA in Education.

An experienced educator, she has been working with children for over 23+ years and nurtures the perfect triangle of parents, children and teachers.

She is very affectionate towards kids and is good at understanding their behaviour and implementing different strategies to help them grow healthy and positively. With her background she is also adept at resolving their psychological concerns.

She believes that children are our future and deserve the very best and as parents, teachers and society, we need to be friendly and very positive with them. With these principles, she works to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Ratna Gangavati

Vice Principal

Ratna Gangavati is the Vice Principal of Walnut School, Wakad. Her academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and a CTET Paper 1 certification.

With eight years of active involvement and a strong association with the school, Ratna Ma'am is an honest, determined, and hardworking individual who strives to maintain fairness in everything she does.

An accomplished educator, she is an essential member of the Walnut School community.

Sailaxmi Patnaik

Primary Coordinator

Ms. Sailaxmi Patnaik is the Coordinator of the Primary Section at our school. She holds a Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com.) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). With a strong passion for education and child development, she is committed to creating a positive, engaging, and student-centred learning environment.

As Primary Coordinator, she works closely with teachers, students, and parents to ensure academic excellence and the holistic development of every child. She believes in fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence among young learners while supporting teachers in delivering meaningful learning experiences.

Shubhangi Babar

Secondary Coordinator

Ms. Shubhangi Babar serves as the Coordinator of the Secondary Section at our school. She holds a Master's degree in Microbiology (M.Sc.) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), and brings over six years of experience in the field of education.

She is dedicated to fostering a supportive and productive learning environment where students and teachers can thrive. Known for her approachable nature and strong interpersonal skills, she strives to understand the needs of students and guide them towards academic and personal growth.

As Secondary Coordinator, she works closely with the management, teachers, students, and parents to ensure effective communication and smooth coordination. Her commitment to collaboration, student well-being, and educational excellence plays a vital role in the successful functioning of the secondary section.
