Marathi

Marathi is the most straightforward subject this year, and we are able to move ahead with full confidence.

The board paper is well-structured and clearly defined. The 80-mark written paper covers all the areas you would expect from a language subject — textbook-based questions, short answers, long answers, grammar, writing, and comprehension, each in its own dedicated section. What makes this particularly manageable is that almost every section carries internal choice. Students have options in the long answers, the short answers and even within the grammar and creative writing section.

The portion itself is also contained. While there is a prescribed textbook, only a portion of it is actually relevant for the board exam — a number of lessons are officially omitted from the CBSE curriculum. This means preparation can be focused and purposeful rather than spread thin.

With a clear paper pattern, defined portions and strong internal choice throughout, students can prepare for Marathi in a structured and confident manner. At this time, there are no unknowns here that require us to wait or adjust — we are proceeding at full pace.
