PEP Classes (Performance Enhancement Plan)
The PEP (Performance Enhancement Plan) classes are designed to support students who need additional help in specific subjects. These sessions focus on strengthening understanding, improving foundational concepts and helping students build confidence in areas where they may be struggling.
PEP classes are conducted in person during the school day. Students may be pulled out of certain activity periods such as Art, Library or similar classes, depending on the timetable. Subject teachers identify the students who require this support and schedule the sessions accordingly.
The program is primarily conducted for Mathematics, as this is a subject where some students may require extra guidance. In addition, PEP classes may also be conducted for Science (in higher grades) and Marathi, depending on the student's level of difficulty in those subjects.
Teachers decide:
- Which students require PEP support
- The subject in which support is needed
- The frequency of these sessions
The aim of the PEP program is to provide targeted academic support within the school day so that students receive the attention they need to strengthen their learning and perform better in their regular assessments.
