Submissions for students of Std 9 and 10
Things to be submitted
Try a Test, Practice Tests, Unit Tests, Half Prelims, Full Prelims
Try a Test (Chapter based)
Students must attempt the Try a Test set assigned to them. A wrong set or wrong question numbers will not be checked for marks and will be treated as a failed or invalid attempt.

The submission deadline is two working days after the checked test is returned.
Practice Test

| Failed or absent | Write the complete Practice Test and the additional Practice Test in full. |
The Practice Test submission must be made on or before the day of the Unit Test for that subject.
Unit Test, Half Prelim and Full Prelim

| Failed or absent | Write the complete examination paper again + whatever additional paper the teacher assigns. |
The submission deadline will be announced by the subject teacher after the checked paper is returned. It will normally be one week after the paper is returned.
Late Submission
The announced submission date is the final deadline. Students should submit earlier wherever possible and should not wait until the last day. If a student is absent on the deadline, the work may be sent through someone else. Submission after the deadline will attract a penalty of 1 mark for every day of delay. Even holidays will be counted as missing days.
Teachers will go through the corrections and submissions and give comments where required. The work will not be checked again in the same detail as the original test.
Students must maintain separate files at home for their test papers and submissions. These files must be brought for goal-setting meetings, parent meetings, remedial discussions or whenever the teacher asks for them, so that the teacher can review the student's mistakes and guide further preparation.
Formative Marks
Each submission will be graded for 5 marks. The students who do not have to submit a particular submission due to full marks will receive full marks for that submission. The others will get marks for the thoroughness, neatness and quality of work.
